Paddlebash artwork - discarded, or unused ideas and art

During the prototype we talked about a lot of different features that didn't make it into the final prototype. Some didn't make it in because they were bad ideas, some becuase we didn't have enough time, and they fell outside of the scope of our prototype and time. Here are a few of the features and artwork:

1) Level ups - power bounces, or point multipliers
2) Clear the screen options - bug spray, tilting the screen, swiping the screen to clear all the bugs.

 3) Bugs to avoid: I thought we could have a pregnant black widow. If you squashed the black widow 10 of it's babies would come out of it and all head toward the candy.

4) Attracting bugs: We talked about having a ladybug attract the other bugs away from the candy. This would be a bug the player could earn and place on the play field when desired. the bugs gathering around the ladybug would allow the player to easily smash multiple bugs at once. We ultimately rejected this idea because it seemed unnecessary and superfluous.

5) Sticky spider. When we squashed this bug, it would spread a sticky spiderweb, sticking other bugs to it until we could smash them. This spider would be very fast and would only appear on the screen temporarily, crawling across the paddle quickly.
